Hey there!
I am Abdullah, an Assistant Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management, with affiliations at the Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS), the Center for Computational Engineering, and the Center for Collective Intelligence.
I work across three areas: (1) studying and improving collective decision-making systems, (2) exploring metascientific questions to improve research methods and practices in the social and behavioral sciences, and (3) building research tools for the scientific community. At MIT, I teach analytics, machine learning, research methods, and philosophy of science. Outside of work, I am into running, cycling, hiking, fishing, and cooking.
