Hey there!

I'm Abdullah, an Assistant Professor at the MIT Sloan School of Management. I'm also affiliated with a few MIT centers, including the Institute for Data, Systems, and Society (IDSS), Center for Computational Engineering, Center for Collective Intelligence, and Connection Science Research Initiative.

I work across three streams: (1) studying and improving collective decision-making systems; (2) examining metascientific questions to enhance research methods in social and behavioral sciences; and (3) developing research tools for the scientific community. At MIT, I teach analytics, machine learning, research methods, and philosophy of science. Outside work, I am into cycling, hiking, fishing, and cooking.

Interests: Collective intelligence, cooperation, coordination, computational social science, research methods, metascience
