Abdullah Almaatouq is an Assistant Professor at MIT. His research focuses on three areas: (1) studying and improving collective decision-making systems; (2) exploring metascientific questions to improve research methods and practices in the social and behavioral sciences; and (3) building research tools and infrastructure for the broader scientific community. At MIT, he is affiliated with the Center for Computational Engineering and the Institute for Data, Systems, and Society in the Schwarzman College of Computing. He holds a PhD and MS in Computational Science and Engineering from MIT, an MS in Media Arts and Sciences from the MIT Media Lab, and a BSc from Southampton University.
